Ian Larsson became a Director of Syndal Credit Union Co-operative in 1976. He was Chairman of the Victorian Credit Co-operative Association, 1976-1981 and President of the Australian Federation of Credit Union Leagues, 1977-1981.
He was a foundation councillor of the Institute of Credit Union Directors Victoria; Vice Chairman of the Institute of Credit Union Directors Australia, 1990-1993; Chairman of the Australian Credit Union Historical Co-operative 1993-1996. Ian was awarded CUSCAL’s Distinguished Service Award in 1997.
