Australian Mutuals History was unable to participate in COBA’s first virtual convention in 2020 but we were pleased to make our online debut at the virtual exhibition centre this year. We didn’t know quite what to expect beforehand but COBA made it very easy to upload our brochure and presentation and we had many visitors to our virtual booth from the mutual banking sector and from the broader support networks without which the sector could not survive and thrive.
It was a great experience and it was important for us to get out among our community after these past two years. As enriching as COBA 21 was let us hope that next year we can go back to the future and do it in person for COBA 22.
